Job Title: MOT Tester

Salary: based on hourly rate - £22000 - £29000

Hours: 5 days from 7 – Monday to Sunday

Location: Tilehurst Reading RG31 5AL

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 4 MOT Tester for our Bosch Car Service Centre in Tilehurst, Reading. We operate a busy MOT Test Lane offering test every 45 minutes from 0800 through to 1645 Monday to Saturday and from 1000 throught to 1515 Sundays. This position will suit someone who is self motivated, controlled when under pressure and comfortable in a customer facing role. Some basic PC skills an advantage as we have an online MOT booking system, but training will be provided.

The principal responsibility:

• Carrry out MOT Testing to VOSA standards
  
  
• Identify additional repair work and advise Service Reception
  
  
• Complete all paper work to required standard
  
  
• Comply with Health and Safety guide-lines following best practice
  
  
• Work effectively as a team member
  
  
• Attend relevant training courses
  
  
• Satisfy our customers
  
  
• Maintain reliable time keeping
  
  

Limits of Authority: Authority is limited to meet the essential element of the jobs’ principal responsibilities.

Location:The job will be based at Car Contacts Ltd in Tilehurst, with the occasional requirement to leave the site on company business, at the discretion of the Management Team.

Probation: The offer of employment is subject to a three-month trial period, which will include all the necessary support to ensure a swift induction along with, feedback and reviews.
